Every Cool Place You’ll Want to Tour in Brussels
Brussels in Belgium is the epicenter of the European Union and NATO headquarters. Tourists love the vibrant beauty of Brussels and the well-known featured attractions. One of the coolest attractions is Cinquantenaire Park, or Parc du Cinquantenaire. The most eye catching feature of the park is the Triumphal Arch (Arc de Triomphe), which was coincidentally completed in 1905, the 75th anniversary of Belgium’s independence.
The town’s square is among the coolest attractions in Brussels. Tourists from all over the world are drawn to the central market area where activity is constantly buzzing and the monumental town hall that towers over the center speaks volumes of French inspired design. Some of the most influential men and women, such as the Archduchess Isabella have been attracted to the central market square, commonly referred to as “The Grand-Place”.
Brussels is known for its artistic innovation. In fact, the Belgian comic strip center is formed around an Art Noveau Setting that boasts the history of comic strip heroes. One of the most popular artistic sculptures is the Manneken Pis, or peeing boy, located near the Grand-Place at the corner of Eikstraat and Stoofstraat. For a memorable artistic experience, it is best to visit Brussles during the third week of August when the market is beautifully decorated with a carpet of flowers.
